moving custom toolbar to another computer

I have created a customer toolbar in Access. I have a number of other people
who use the same database model. When I teach them how to use it, the most
common question is can you move your toolbar to my computer.

Can this be done?

I am working with Acess 97 SR1

File | Get External | Import

Click the Advanced (or is it Options?) button.
There's a check box for toolbars and menus.

On the Import dialogue box the files of type is showing Acess.
When I click Advanced there is no place to click toolbar and or menus.
Am I missing something.

Also I am actually trying to copy the toolbar to take to another unconnected
computer by disc (it shows up on the other computer that I am share a peer to
peer network with). Are we on the right track?

First off you can only exchange totally custom toolbars and menus, not
modifications that you have done to the built in ones. To transfer a custom
command bar you need to give the user a file that contains the command bar
(since custom command bars are part of the file). He can then import that
command bar from the file you give him into any other file he chooses. You
have to press the [Options...] button in the import dialog to see the option
for menus and toolbars.

Changes you make to the built in command bars become part of your Access
install (not any particular MDB file) and these are stored in the Windows
registry. It "might" be possible to copy those to another system by copying
the registry "branch", but I have never tried that.

You MUST select the file you are going to import. You then get a dialog box
with a bunch of options to import forms, reports, queires etc. Note on the
bottom of this form there is a button called "options>>>"

Click on the options button, and you will see a check box to import the menu
bars...

to realize what you trying to walk me through but it worked. You have made
