Forcing Display of Custom Toolbars

E

E.Q.

This should be a simple question.
I have the database open to "frmStart" where users can select reports to run.
I've created a custom toolbar that I'd like to have appear when the user
opens a report off the start form. (It's basically a pared down version of
the stock "Print Preview" toolbar.)
How do I ensure that users see that toolbar (and only that toolbar) when
they select the icon for the desired report off the start form. (The custom
toolbar is named "EQC1")
Thank you,
EQ

Hi EQ,

Open your report in design view, with the Properties dialog (F4 or View |
Properties) displayed. The Toolbar is a Report property, so you should see
the word "Report" in the blue title bar of the Properties dialog. Select the
Other Tab. Enter the name of your custom toolbar for the Toolbar property
(6th from top in A2003).

If you'd like to disable the default Menu Bar, set this property to: =0

If you are using A2007 and dealing with the Ribbon.....well, you're on your
own, since I'm not actively using this version.

That worked for the report but now I have that toolbar open when the file
starts. How do I limit that to just the report view?
