How difficult is it to move an OU from one domain to its
own newly created domain? We have approximately 125 nodes,
10 servers in our OU, and we have moderate security
settings.

You can use a command line tool called movetree which is described in
Microsoft Knowledge Base article 238394
(http://support.microsoft.com/?id=238394)

An easier tool would be Active Directory Migration tool. For more
information go to

Actually, we are moving to a forrest that has not been
created. It will be a newly created company division
combining multiple domains from different forrests into a
new single forrest and new domains.

Then you will need to use the Active Directory migration tool. Really good
with working across domains and across forests
