MovieMaker 2 freezes when i insert an MP3 or Wav file

Help! I've used MM2 for a year with no problems. Now when
I insert any audio file, the program freezes and will not
even let me preview the video. So, as of now the program
works but i cannot insert any audio. Anyone, please help!
