Movie resolution

When I play my avi movie in WMP 10 it looks great. When I link it to play in
Powerpoint 2003 , it plays, but the resolution seems reduced and there is
more noise in the images. How can I fix this? Why can't it play from
PowerPoint using WMP?

Fred,

Are you inserting it at the native size or are you re-sizing it on the
slide?

Austin,
After using the Insert Movie menu selection, I do resize the image (which at
first comes in at 1/4 the slide size to fit the PowerPoint Screen (full slide
size).

Hope this helps the diagnosis.

Resizing it larger will always produce pixilation and artifacts and should
not be done as a general rule. When you make a video larger there are no
"extra" pixels to make up the difference so the existing pixels are spread
out over a larger area and, well you see the results.
