Movie Maker

I'm using Vista (Home Premium). I have recorded TV shows with Media Center.
I'm trying to using Movie Maker to cut the commercials out of the shows and
burn to DVD. When I import the show into Movie Maker and start the show, I'm
clicking on Clip and the Clip Beginning and Clip Ending is greyed out. Why
is that or am I doing this wrong?

Just a thought...but is it possible that a
Fade In or Fade Out transition is causing
this? Maybe you could try removing a few
frames from each end.

No, that was not the problem. I realized I had to movie the show to the grid
(dumb me) to edit it. From this point it should be easy to edit out all of
the commercials, I hope. Another question, am I able to put two shows on the
grid and edit them and make 1 DVD?

yes, you can add as many shows as you like, but the longer the project the
more power you need from your pc to edit it, so you may find
edit one and saving as a dv-avi,
then edit two and saving as a dv-avi,
then edit three and saving as a dv-avi

Then use your dvd authoring app to make your dvd from these three files. If
using MM and exporting straight from the timeline, then add all three dv-avi
files to a new project and make your dvd.
