Movie Maker in all Vista versions the same?

I use MovieMaker 2.1 under XP Home and I like it. I intend to purchase a new
Computer with Vista but I'd like to know whether MovieMaker is in all Vista
verions the same? I downloaded MovieMaker 2.6 to test it under XP, is there a
tool to try it?

No, 2.6 will not run on WinXP.

All versions of Vista have Version 6 of
Movie Maker. 2.6 is for computers that
will not run version 6.
