Movie maker hangs when started doing import

I am using movie maker 5.1 - the software sees my Sony
camera pictures but at the point where it started
Importing my computer Movie makes crashes.

i don't know what should i dop ?

Any pointer any suggestion ?

And try capturing with the WinDV utility... there's a link on the
Camcorders... General page. If the capture doesn't work with it, then it's
something with your capture device, cable or camcorder (assuming it's a
digital camcorder with a firewire capture setup).
