movie maker freeze ups

After i open the movie maker main screen, when cecking project files it sems
to take forever and a day. When it finally does locate the project I am
interested in and I attempt to work on it further the program freezes lists
an error message requesting me to send an error report then shuts down. what
is the problem and how will it be corrected. It seems that even from the
first time I used the program working time seemed to dimnish gradually until
I reached the cuurent frustration level.

This used to happen to me all the time. I recently upgraded to 4GIGs of RAM
and so far it's not been a problem but I haven't pushed the software with
large files. It's extremely frustrating, especially when you lose all your
work, and I never got any satisfaction from Microsoft on it.
