movie maker - cant create movie clip (suddenly)

i cannot save my movies - any one help me out ?
ALl paths are correct blah blah blah, even to insert a
couple of pictures or clips into it, from the desktop, i
can't compile into a movie file - this suddenly stopped
working for some reason !

Do a system restore and go back to when it was working fine.

Tried that, also the same - just suddenyl stopped
working, any more ideas???
