Movie does not show

The movie plays in Medaiplayer

when integrated in PPT your hear only sound , the
videoframe is black.

Used powerpoint 2003, Acer Travelmate 803 laptop

If the full path to the video exceeds 128 characters, PowerPoint 2003 won't play
it. Try moving it to C:\Test and then delete it and reinsert it in your
presentation and see if that corrects the problem.

What type of movie is it? MPEG? AVI? WMV?
Are you using a dual screen setup?

I thought about the dual screen settings.

Actually, I tested serveral settigns.
even the if the laptop is used alone (without extra
screens) there is a black movie.
and I checked the display settigns, no other screen was
activated then the laptops tft.
