Movie Clip always jumps to first frame after playing

I am using Powerpoint 2004 (Version 11.3.5) for Mac running on Mac OS X
version 10.4.10.
I have inserted a video clip into a ppt presentation, and when I play the
video, it plays without any issues, but at the completion of the video, it
jumps back to the first frame of the video. Is there any way to prevent
powerpoint from jumping back to the first frame of the video? Thanks so much.

Don't have a Mac but on PC's there's an option to tick or untick 'rewind when
done'. It's in edit movie object on a PC

Thanks John,

Unfortunately on my Mac the only two options under edit movie object are
"Loop until stopped" or "Rewind movie when done playing" and I don't have the
rewind movie when done playing button selected. Does anyone else have any
ideas for a Mac?
