Moved some folders out of Windows?

I was reading this thread:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...a7-c35feee337da&cat=&lang=&cr=&sloc=en-us&p=1
and took some advice therein moving my Driver Cache; dllcache, and
ServicePackFiles to my D drive on my laptop to make my system drive smaller
for backing uo to CD using Image for Windows. Anyways I was able to move the
Contents of the folders but not the folders themselves so I left them in
Windows and put notes in there for me . I will just leave the empty folders
there, is that OK. I have rebooted my computer and everything is fine and I
have made the approproiate registry changes as decribed in the thread.
