Moved FP 02 from Win98 to XP now Locks Up

Moved my FP 2002 from a Windows 98 machine to a Windows XP
Professional machine. Published webs to CDR then moved to
hard drive. Those webs give me a 'System Exception: access
violation' error. New webs, when opening a page; lock the
program and send an error report. I simply cannot open a
page or an htm; both problems come when trying to open a
page for editing. Help!

When using a CD to move files, you need to copy the files to a folder on
your HD, then remove the read-only attributes from all files and folders
within the web, then open the folder in FP and publish to the correct
location on your HD.

Search for and delete any *.lck files.
