Moveable Taskbar Items

I don't know why Microsoft hasn't done this already. But the items in the
taskbar should be movable to sort that as the user desires. I like all of my
usual applications to be lined up according to how/when I need them. As it is
now, if one crashes or something, when I restart it it comes up way down in
the multi-level taskbar when I want it back in the first couple of slots of
the taskbar. The way it is now is just stupid. Allow the user to drag&drop
taskbar items to wherever they want, ala Firefox tabs. Get with the program,
Microsoft! You are already on your way to being obsolete. Ubuntu is looking
more attractive everyday.

No one here works for MS, so you need to contact them to rant.

Are you referring to the shortcut icons you have on the Quick Launch
Taskbar? I can move mine any place I want.

Bruce

Same here. I can drag my Icon in the Quick Launch tray to reorder them.

1. This is not Microsoft the company so your rant is wasted.

2. I doubt you can run Ubuntu based on your apparent knowledge level
demonstrated above.

I use Taskbar Commander by OnlineToolsTeam.com and it allows
me to shuffle my Taskbar buttons in whatever way I need to.
