move xp from F: to C: ?

I have dual boot with ME and XP. XP is on F:. I want to
remove or replace ME and move XP to the larger drive.
How can I do this so as to keep programs and updates
intact? Is it possible with a transport program? I also
would like to incorporate ME links and programs with the
new XP location (like an upgrade) Is there a way to
reinstall on C: and do a file transfer, then delete the
F: copy of XP?

You cannot simply change the drive from F to C as Windows and most of the
installed programs will still be looking for files on drive F. Your best
option is to reinstall on the larger drive, recreate your users and then
copy the required user files from the old installation. You will still need
to reinstall all your applications
