Move Task Date until completed?

In other task software, I am able to set a Task (e.g. 'Organize Papers') for
a date and if I don't mark as 'Complete' that day, the date changes to the
next day until I mark as complete.

This is even more critical now that I have my calendar synched to my phone.
If I don't get to task, I want it to appear on my phone calendar the next
day. Having to go review prior days defeats the whole purpose.

Is there anyway to do this?

Don't put a completion date on the task and it will remain until you mark it
complete.
 
If you set a reminder for a task, that reminder remains active untill
completed.
You can, when reminded, select the option to remind in xx minutes or days
