Move rule copies instead of moves

Anybody have an idea how to fix this
Outlook 2000: Internet mail only


I have a rule that reads
Apply this rule after the message arrives
with fax in the subject or body
move it to the FAX folder

Instead of moving it, it copies it, leaving an original in
my invbox

Any suggestions are appreciated

Try adding "stop processing more rules" to the end of that rule, and/or move
it farther down in your rules list. It's possible that more than one rule
is acting on a particular message, creating duplicates.
