Move or delete files from CD

I have put too many files on my backup CD and am having trouble accessing
files. I tried to remove some of the files, but I get an error message that
the files are "Read Only" protected and that I cannot delete them. Is there a
way to chaneg the protection so I can move or delete files from the CD?

That answer would best comne from the folks that made the CD burning

Right click on the file, select properties and uncheck the read-only box.
