move error

I was moving some files and had a change of heart. I
cancelled the move and now cannot find some of the files
that were moved. Is there a way to recover those files?

The files are probably still on your disk somewhere. If
you know the name of the files, use search tool then copy
from search results and paste back to original location.

I have checked using a search with no luck.
