Move emails to mail folders

Just installed Outlook 2007. It will not let me move an email in the in box
to another mail folder. Gives error message that the email has already been
moved or access is blocker. How do I fix this?
 
Hard to say at this level of detail.
Which mail account type are you using?
Is this an upgrade from a previous version or is this the first time that
any version of Outlook is installed on that system?

Try a new mail profile.
 
Upgrade from Outlook 2003. Microsoft Exchange Server email. Email will come
in to Inbox, but cannot move to any other folder either by dragging or
telling it to move. Gives the access blocked message.
