move control panel to desk top how

how do i move control panal to desk top like it was in
windows 98 tried the clasic setting didnt work

just create a shortcut to the control panel and place it
on the desktop. right click on the control icon and goto
create shortcut.

Left click on control panel and hold the button down and
drag and drop to the desktop. Good luck.
