mouseclicks & keyboard stop working

Dell Latitude 820 sp2 pro. A few times a day Windows stops responding
to mouse clicks and keyboard commands. The mouse will move around the
screen, but the click does nothing. If I hit CTRL-ALT_DEL and go to
task manager, it comes up, but I can't move off the tab it opened up on
with the keyboard or the mouse. I have to log off and log back in and
then it is OK for a while. This behavior seems to be unique to a single
profile. When I use the administrator profile I have no problems. This
one is new to me, any ideas?

how about creating a new profile and moving your data across (if your
data is stored there).

then for fun and with no urgency, try to figure out why that profile is
buggered.
