From time to time my IBM mouse ceases to function and I
have to shut down and restart. Thanks
 
You may have to replace the mouse - it could be a bad connection somewhere
and it's probably cheaper to just buy a new one.
 
Check your connection you may want to reseed(unplug/plug)
the mouse, if that does not solve the problem look into
purchasing a new mouse, depending upon use, a mouse may
only last two to three years.
