mouse won't work in word document

I'm not sure what happened, but working within a word 2003 document on my
boss' PC I am unable to use the left or right mouse buttons....the scroll
wheel works, but I can't highlight text or anything for that matter...did he
screw with a setting of some sort? please help!

TJT - Did you ever resolve this issue? I started seeing this about a week
ago on one pc, and then it appeared yesterday on a brnad new pc that I was
setting up.

the problem went away when I un-installed the laserfiche client...pretty
bizarre issue. I hope that helps you
