If this is a duplicate post, apologies... I as having issues...

Using Office 2003, and IE 7.RC1....
Intellipoint 5.5 on optical mouse

When I am composing an HTML message in Outlook, I cannot use the mouse to
select text. The keyboard works, but not the mouse.

I've re-installed the mouse drivers, and run "Detect and Repair", all to no
avail.

Am I wrong, or should this work? And if it should, how can I fix it?

Regards,
Chuck Billow

If you roll back to IE 6, does it work then?

Milly, I was thinking of that...

But how the heck do I do it? I ran the '7' install, thinking it would undo,
but it didn't...

so??

I had thought of that, but couldn't figure how... I re-ran the '7' install,
but there wasn't an "uninstall" option, and I didn't see it in Add/Remove.

Milly:

Two things:

I found the Uninstall (Windows IE instead of Microsoft) and

Yes, rolling back to IE6 fixes the issue.

I guess this means that IE7 ain't quite ready for prime time.

Thanks for your help.

Chuck Billow
