mouse problems

erratic movement of logitech pilot mouse
wheel scroll jumps only from paragraph to paragraph
no software shown in control panel
download from logitech has not helped
is there a download from microsoft or do i need to re-
install xp or something else as drastic

If your mouse is an usb device and your are useing other
devices on the usb at the same time this may cause
erratic movements. Try unplugging the other usb devices
to see if this clears the problem.

Actually, what Ray is talking about is usually caused by interference
from active USB 2.0 ports. What I have a feeling you are talking about
it just the mouse properties. Click Start-Control Panel-Mouse and change
the settings to what you want them to be
