Mouse Problem

My Microsoft Optical Mouse with a USB Connection keeps turning off (the red
light on the mouse goes off) occasionally.

I found Microsoft Knowledge Base Article #321122. It seems to address my
problem. I have two questions in following these instructions:

How to I Maximize a screen without the mouse?

How to I maneuver in a screen without the mouse?

I have thought to remove it with the device manager using the mouse (I could
not a curser in Device Manager without the mouse.) Also I have minimized
Registry Editor so maybe when I open it will be maximized.

Can anyone help.

hi press the windowes key and F1 to get help then type
mousekeys to get instructions on how to navigate without
the mouse. dunno 'bout the other myself KAI
