Mouse gets slow then becomes unresponsive

windows xp pro, came back from vacation and started using computer and over the coarse of 1 to 2 hours the mouse gets real slow and finally becomes unresponsive at all. has anyone heard of this happening??? thanks for any hel

you haven't said what type of mouse you're using...

If it's a USB then yes I have seen it before, if it's a ps2 then no .
