Mouse Cursor Speed

Hi All,

I have my mouse's cursor speed set pretty high, but lately I have noticed
that it randomly goes to a nominal speed, and can vary in speed across
different open application windows.

I have updated the drivers/software, and this is a wireless rechargeable
Logitech MX700 setup. Their software does not seem to be the problem, and I
don't think its a battery issue.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Are the batteries fully recharged? If you have already updated the
driver then you must check the batteries also.

How does the Wireless receiver connect to the PC (USB or PS/2) ?
Are you using MouseWare or the newer Set Point control software ?

Sometimes wireless Logitech Mice will work better if the receiver is
used on the PS/2, instead of USB. Just increase the sampling rate up
to 200 and check the option, "Fast Initialization".
