mouse clicks

Does anyone know how to make the mouse clicks stop? I
just got my computer plugged into my home stereo to
listen to mp3s, but if I simultaneously browse the net,
everytime I click back or open a new page, there is this
annoying little click. I looked through control
panel/sounds, but nothing had the click listed as it's
event noise.

open control panel
open sounds and audio devices applet
click on sounds tab
under windows explorer, change complete navigation and start navigation to
"(none)" without the quotes.
