Hi Folks

When I move my mouse pointer/cursor over the name of a
folder in a directory this oblong box pops up and tells
me more about the folder and what's in it. I know what's
in it - I created it - and this is really driving me
nuts. I'm often scanning for something and these regular
popups just get in the way.

Does anyone know how I turn this off. I'm running
Windows XP.

Many thanks
Regards
Margaret

Hi Anando

I already did that. It worked for the Explorer windows.
However, I still get the balloons (very annoying indeed)
on the task bar items at the bottom of my screen and in
some programmes such as MediaMonkey. I'd just like to
get rid of them altogether if that's possible. Any ideas
please?

Thanks
Margaret
