Mount ISO as virtual CD in build 5728

For a few years I am using Daemon Tools version 3 (3.47 latest) with WinXP. I
would like to use a simular program with build 5728. Have tried old 3.3
(virtual scsi driver does not work) and using latest 4.06 which should run
fine with RC1. Maybe with 5600, but I have problems with it with 5728.

I do not mind using another program. But Slysofts Virtual Clonedrive also
does not work.

Does anyone here have a solution/app which will work?

What version are you using from Virtual CloneDrive ?

I'm using the Microsoft Virtual CDROM application and it is up and running
with ISO images.

You commonly find it under a file name download of
WINXPVirtualCDControlPanel_21.exe

Did you install it on a clean Vista installation, or was it installed in
WinXP and did you upgrade your WinXP installation to Vista RC1?

Looked like a handy program. Unfortunally it gives me a "mount failed". When
is does not give me the error, I still have no drive. I ran the program as
administrator.
