Mount a drive

Hi. I have a question... to mount a drive in windows xp..
the hdd must be converted to dynamic yes or no?
 
Converted to dynamic what? Where?

In most cases, all you need to do is connect the hard drive and you are
done.
 
Don't know what you mean. Basic volumes can be mounted as well as dynamic
volumes. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
