Motorola SM56 PCI Driver Problems

Hello!

I have a Motorola Internal Modem With Speaker phone, the SM 56 PCI. I just
downloaded the latest drivers for win xp. but after the drivers are
installed, i get a message saying error code 10. driver not installed
properly/ device is not functioning properly. what do i do?

I'm running Win XP Pro SP1 with the latest updates.
My system is as follows.

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
512 MB DDR RAM
Asus A7M6-VM (nForce Chipset-lastest BIOD updates)

Please advise.

I see no XP drivers on the following page. You might list where you
obtained them...

Try the 2K drivers, which are being used here successfully with that modem
(as I recollect).
