Motion Path Snapping

Guest

I have multiple objects with multiple motion paths which cross over each
other. I'm trying to place another one, but the ends of the motion path
arrow keep snapping to other motion path arrows. As a result, I can't get
the path to start at the correct location (which ironically, is the end of a
prior path, but of course I can't get it to snap to this one). Is there a
way to turn off this feature?

Can someone please help?!

Actually, both of them were unticked. Somehow I got it to work by reversing
the direction of motion, ticking the "snap to other objects" and then
repositioning, but I'm still confused as to why this happens.

This is really starting to drive me crazy. It keeps snapping to other motion
paths (even though snap to other objects or snap to grid are both unchecked)
and I can't get it to put a motion path where I want. It also seems to
randomly pick which path to snap to because sometimes I'm not even close.
Can anyone help?!!

Hi,

I think it might depend on the motion path type. Anyway, you might be able
to draw the path with the object further away form where it is now and then
bump it back with the <control + arrow keys>?
