Motherboard test & diagnostic tool

Hello. I am beginning to suspect that my a Pentium 3 Socket 370
motherboard on an old computer of mine might be starting to conk out on
me. For example, it can not detect certain hard disks on the Primary
IDE channel, but can detect them on the Secondary channel.

Can anyone recommend any motherboard testing programs that checks the
motherboard for faults? Something I can just leave overnight running...

For old computer, it is very often due to bad contacts. Before doing
anything further, try to pull out the ide cables and fit them again. This
very often can make your mb recognise your drive.

and if that dont work - swap the IDE cables.
