I am ass load of errors when I try to boot from my 2000 cd. I am losty, and the main board people said I just need to reinstall windows. but I cant do it

help please.

Most probably they are right. If you want to migrate your OS from one
mainboard to another, make sure both are identical. If not, unexpected error
may occur.

Backup your data and do a reformat to solve your problem.

.

Return the motherboard. ECS mainboards are crap. That's
why you're having problems.

You can always boot with the W2K CD, and repair your
installation. You don't have to do a clean install.

I will try to be a little more spacific. I set my bios to boot from the cdrom. When I boot off the cd, the blue screen comes up and starts doing it's thing. (loading files and stuff across the bottom.) Every time I do this I get a number of errors that do not allow me to continue the w2k setup. here are some of the warnings, and error codes that ccome up
\i386\ntkrnlmp.exe error code 4, 7, 1
line 5355 of INF file is invali
Line 9355 of INF file is invali
ntfs.sys is corrup
acpi.sys corrupte
pcmcia.sys couild not be foun
\i3386\l_intl.nls error code 1
atapi.sys corrupte
The list goes on and on.I don't even get a chance to repair, format or any of that stuff. I would like to format the hard drive, reinstall w2k and go from there. is there a dos boot disk that I can burn onto cd and load? the computer I have acess to away from work does not have a floppy. I not, Let me know where to find the site to download it and I will try it tomorrow.
