motherboad chipset drivers

guy's was wondering if anyone can help i want to update my nvidia
chipset drivers, mob is A8N-SLI PREMUIM ASUS BRAND do i uninstall old
ones first or can i install over the top of old ones. cheers mark

First, If you're expierenceing no problems, there's so need.

Some drivers don't care if you update over the top of the old drivers.
Some do. Some will uninstall the old ones for you. Some will make you
do it yourself. Best way to know is to read the instructions first.
Failing that, try to install over the top, if there's going to be a
problem, the installer will usually complain.

thanks for that have been having alot of problems running fs2004 so i
thought i might try updating the drivers cheers mark

Can you describe your problems? Might not be drivers.

hi well the problems i have been having are ,i getting alot of
stuttering, flicking and what looks like shimmering of ground
textures.also if im looking at the panel and banking to the left or
right it is not a smooth turn lots of stuttering maybe it the vid card
6800 gs 265mb pci-e gigabyte brand have the latest drivers but have
tried other drivers to resolve but no go have a ide 120 gb hard drive
might try that in there instead of the sata drive cheers mark

Did you try adjusting Anti aliasing and some of the other FS settings?

Also you might check in microsoft.public.simulators newsgroup as there are a
lot of good people there.
