Most Frequently Used Programs List Disappeared

Hi -

A few days ago my '"Most Frequently Used Programs List' seciton of the start
menu disappeared. I have restored my computer to a previous day and they do
re-appear. However, then within a few hours they disappear again.

I have checked my start menu properties and verified that my system is set
to display 6 recently used programs.

Any ideas why they won't appear now?
