I've gone back into read my newsgroup and can only see the last week of
posts. I know there are more posts because I've actually posted to my
newsgroup more than a week ago. I've tried synchronizing but that didn't seem
to do anything. How can I get Outlook to show more than a week of newsgroup
posts?

Thanks,
cw

Why did you imagine this is an Outlook question? Outlook is not and never
will be a news reader.

Perhaps you did not understand my question. Withing Outlook you can subscribe
to newsgroups and indeed read posts. So I am asking about reading posts to
newsgroups.

No you can't. As I said, Outlook is not and never will be a news reader.
What news reader are you using? Post your question there.

As I've already stated, that is not an Outlook version at all. You are using
Outlook Express as your news reader.
This newsgroup is for support of Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007
from the Office family, For Outlook Express (OE) support try posting in
this newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com.microsoft,public.windoes.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

If this group isn't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

Also a good source of Outlook Express info can be found here:

It turns out Outlook's News configuration was set to return 300 headers. This
can be changed from the following menu item.
Tools->Options
Under the Read tab, set the News option.
