More than 1 user on same computer??

I have relied on Outlook for several years. My friend also uses outllook on
her computer. We will be away for 6 months and will only have my laptop.
Can both of us use the Outllook program independently of one another? If
so, how do we set each user up?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes.

If so, how do we set each user up?

Create two mail profiles, one for you and one for your friend. Define in
your profile your account settings and your mail store. Define in the other
profile the same information for your friend. Control Panel>Mail>Show
Profiles>New will get you started.

Keep in mind that, ordinarily, mail will be downloaded to your machine. So,
at the end of the sharing period, your friend, if she wishes, will need to
transfer her Outlook items from your PC to hers (not that she must, if she
doesn't care about any of it, of course).

Thanks for reply. I can see how we can have 2 different email accounts;
what about having 2 different tasks, calendars, etc?

You need a different PST for each profile, which is the most common
arrangement anyway. If the PC you will share is a WIndows 2000 or XP
machine, the easiest way would be for each of you to have a separate Windows
login. Then nothing you do will interfere with what your friend does and
vice versa.

I don't know Windows ME features at all, but if it does, then the advice
would be the same.
