Hi,
Thanks to all who have helped with my previous questions.
Hoping that I can get some more advice now.

I have been advised to purchase the XP embedded Target Designer SP2
Feature Pack 2007. This is for my first project using the XPe OS.
My project is a simple touch screen (kiosk!) type application. There
is no data stored in the device, all data is sent to a network
connected server.

I am hoping to program my custom app using Visual Studio 6.0, using
MFC libraries.

So, my usage isn't very advanced, and not all that big either.

I notice that the XP embedded target designer SP2 Feature Pack 2007
costs £995 (here in UK).
My employers don't want to spend so much on a development tool which
we don't anticipate using for any other projects.
Is there a cheaper way to get my project off the ground? Are there any
third party tools which would work for me.

Help appreciated.

Regards

Sorry - either buy the development environment or pay someone else to make
your XPe image which will probably cost more at hours x hourly rate.

I don't think there is a way around it.
