more dvd burning help

yes i'm back

when re-burning onto a +RW DVD is it best to wipe it first. is thi
even possible? if so, how?

or

do i just burn the new information over the old when prompted by m
burning software to over write old files. will this cause the ne
files to deteriorate in quality in any way?

i am using DVD Architect.

YES, if its been used before. New, out of the package, no.

Answer depends on what burning software you're speaking of. Am not familar
with the software you're using.

i am using DVD Architect.

Try Nero. Your software doesn't seem to have an onboard help, nor a website
for help.
