The word 'wet' was invented by man to describe the properties of water.

Therefore, to ask why water is wet, imo, goes against all logic that we, mankind, have established.

Why is the sky blue?

Why does gravity draw us towards the earth?

Why do we breathe?

Ec-cet-era Ec-cet-era..... ;)
