I am connected through a LAN line on my school network.
I am running Windows XP pro and have files shared on my
computer. I used to have windows ME and there was a tool
I could use to see who is connected to my computer
through the network. I haven't been able to find
anything like that on windows XP Pro. If there is such a
thing does anyone know where i could find it?

You can monitor the users connected to your System and
the Files/folders they are accessing using the "shared
folders" in computer management.

Computer Management
- System Tools
- Shared Folders
- Open Files

You can get more details about share folders in the
Windows XP online help. You can find more details about
Shared folders in the following help file on your XP Pro
machine:

%systemroot%\help\file_srv.chm

If your XP is installed in C:\Windows then the location
would be C:\WINDOWS\help\file_srv.chm
