when i installed windows xp on my computer my internet wouldnt work properly
so i went to the help and support thing and it said to open the tower and the
pull out the internet(D-Link) chip and then put it back in and it will work,
but when i did that something happened and the monitor doesnt work, like if i
take the plug for the monitor out of the back of the tower it says on the
screen NOT CONNECTED, then when i plug it back into the back of the tower,
then turn the computer on the computer starts up but the light on the monitor
stay yellow and the screen is blank but you hear the rest of the comoputer
like warm up and stuff. then if you wait abit the computer will start to beep
and the only way to stop it is if you press and hold the power on switch.
PLEASEE HELP!!

Hi Tanya,

Does this system have a Video card that stands up and is plugged into
a slot in the main board?

If so carefully remove it and reinsert it. It may have just come
loose.

Also made certain the cable is securely fastened.

yes i did that i put pulled the cable out of the back and then put it back in
then i pulled the board out of the other one, but still no computer screen
works...what about the noice...after about a minute or so i hear this
