monitor - thin green line down side

Hi,

When I have a picture on my desktop and when I play video I get a thin green
line on the right hand side going down my monitor. If I change my desktop to
a white screen it disappears. If I open My computer and drag it over to the
right the line disappears over the white bit but still shows on the blue bar
at the top.

These are my details if that helps:-

I of course cannot see it but you are describing the failure mode of an LCD
monitor.
