Monitor Problems when upgrading from Me to XP

I have a Gateway FPD 1500 monitor. When I upgraded from
Me to XP, my monitor display has a one inch black border
around the Desktop display. I have gone to the Gateway
website to look for new drivers, but the ones for my
monitor do not support XP. Does any one have any other
suggestions on how to get my Desktop display to utilize
the entire screen?

You need to use the controls on the Monitor itself to 'stretch' the picture
to fit the screen.

The only contols on this monitor are a - and + which
controls the brightness of the monitor. I have the
stretch pick in the display in the Control Panel.
