Monitor Issue

I recently upgraded a Dell Computer to
from Win98 to Windows 2000. The monitor
changed to some VGAsave mode, and I can not
update drivers for the video card. I have tried
several drivers from Dell but nothing seems
to update. I have contacted Dell also.
Currently I only have two settings for my E770s
monitor which have only 16 colors.

What kind of video card is it?

I opened up the machine and it looks like it said

ATI Rage 128 Pro (N625)

The Card on the inside says that it is a
ATI Rage 128 PRO. The Drivers that come with the original
Dell machine don't list that at all.

Thanks for your help solution found in the orginal CD
kit. I had made so many changes that I needed to go back
to a previous state of windows and then install the
orginal driver. Sometimes the answer is right under our
nose. Happy Holidays and thanks for the leading question.
